Glasgow FrontRunners is an award-winning inclusive community based road-running group with strong links to Glasgow’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community and friends.
Using The Arc Sports Complex at Caledonian University as our base, we have 2 regular weekly runs that take you through the sights and scenes of Greater Glasgow. To help get the most out of your running, we offer runs that suit all abilities (generally split into 3 skill level groups on a Thursday). We have a full range of abilities, from absolute beginners, to advanced competitive runners who undertake half-marathons & marathons.
There are always jogscotland trained Jog Leaders on hand to lead the groups and to guide and advise you individually. Every week there will be a qualified Jog Leader assigned to look after your running group.
We run on a Thursday, and a Sunday, at The Arc (the Glasgow Caledonian University Sports Centre)
Thursdays: meet from 6.15pm, get changed for the warm-up starting prompt at 6:30pm. Normally beginners, intermediate and advanced runs each led by Jog Leaders every week.
Sundays: meet from 10:30am, get changed for the warm-up starting prompt at 10:45am. Normally one run catering for all abilities, and employing different training methods.
