This debut feature from up and coming director, Christie Conochalla sees two women fight for what makes them happiest, they just can’t exactly distinguish if it’s each other or their careers. They only have time for one but they try to have it all. Forever Not Maybe offers fantastic representation of career-driven women, the challenges they come up against in wider society, and how long distance love can add both pleasure and pain.

AESOP is an award winning, indie film festival favorite, set in an alternative universe, where a world dominating company, AESOP, has developed a pill that ends the aging process. This means that people will not age nor die of old age. Unfortunately, there is only enough for 88% of the population, so they must decide who gets it and who doesn’t. Ruth works at AESOP, helping decide who gets the pill and who doesn’t. She meets and falls in love with Marie, and eventually learns that Marie will not be eligible for the pill. The two must then make the most difficult decisions of their lives.

➡️How to watch the film for the watch parties

We come together on Zoom, but we watch the series on our own devices so you will need access to Lesflicks to rent the title. If you are on an iPad/iPhone you cannot use Zoom and watch video at the same time due to something in the set up of Apple Devices. So you will need to leave the zoom whilst we are watching the title. We will let you back in!!! The films are on LesflicksVOD and our new platform allows you to pop out the player so you can watch the film and chat about it on zoom at the same time!

If you don’t already subscribe, Lesflicks offers a 3 day free trial. A small monthly fee and you get unlimited content – think of it like a lesbian Netflix!
