Transgender Day of Remembrance – Glasgow

Transgender Day of Remembrance is a day for commemorating and celebrating lives lived as well as lost. This year we invite you to join us lighting a candle and opening our hearts to those who have passed before us and to support those who are fighting for the right to be their true selves today.
A zoom event with the Glasgow Mission of the Order of Perpetual Indulgence and The UK Martha’s will be held on the 20th November at 7pm ( open from 6.30). There be some short speeches, information as well as poems and other content to be confirmed. Please join us in lighting your candle or send us
video clips of you lighting your candle which can also be shared in the zoom.
The zoom shall be shared onto Facebook live.
Many LGBTQIA+ organisations and community will be joining us for this momentous event bringing our communities together.
