Weekly Trans Community Chats with ARCH
June 29 @ 14:00 - 16:00 EDT
An event every week that begins at 2:00pm on Tuesday, repeating until 31. August 2021
In light of the suspension of in-person programming with ARCH, we are delighted to be shifting our trans peer support program online!
*Transgender, Trans, and Non-Binary Peer Community Chat Sessions*
Join us EVERY Tuesday for a collective chat from 2:00 – 4:00PM
We have trained trans and non-binary peer workers here to support other folks in the community. They’ve been trained in active listening, motivational interviewing, as well as resource navigation and warm referrals. It’s a great place for people in our communities to pop in for community based peer support, to be heard by people with lived experience, and get some help finding resources, info, or other support that they might need. Anyone can come by (trans people, their family members, partners, people looking to learn more) and connect with trans people who live and work in our community!

A reminder: This chat is designed to support transgender, two-spirit, gender non-conforming, and other non-cisgender people in a peer-to-peer digital space, in lieu of our usual physical drop-in. Please note that all of ARCH’s policies and procedures apply to this space, including our norms of respect, a zero tolerance for harassment (including racism, ableism, etc), maintaining the confidentiality of those in the chat, as well as our online trans support guidelines which can be found on our website or by contacting Jasper at <email@example.com>.
*This chat is moderated by our trained peer support workers and is not a therapeutic service.*
If you are in crisis, please get in touch with your care providers or a crisis support line directly. Thank you!
