The Gender Centre (TGC) is a transgender community drop in centre which is run by Gender Minorities Aotearoa. It is open for drop in every Wednesday and Thursday 10am – 5pm, at 130 Riddford street in Newtown, Wellington.
TGC provides peer support, information, and a range of services, including support with name changes, gender marker changes, accessing health care, legal matters, and peer support. You don’t need to have a reason to drop in – come by and have a cup of tea with us!
TGC is child friendly, and has gender neutral bathrooms.
