Der Verein Zurich Pride Festival (ZHPF) fördert und fordert die Akzeptanz sowie Gleichstellung der LGBTIQ-Lebensweise (engl.: lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, inter, queer) in der Schweiz. Der Verein konzentriert seine Aktivitäten auf die jährlich stattfindende Zurich Pride. Während zwei Wochen (Pride Weeks) bietet das ZHPF – in Zusammenarbeit mit zahlreichen anderen LGBTIQ-Vereinen und Gruppierungen – eine vielfältige Palette an Veranstaltungen zu einem jährlich wechselnden Motto. Die Pride Weeks enden mit dem Pride Festival. Als Höhepunkt des zweitägigen Pride Wochenendes gilt der friedliche, politische Demonstrationsumzug am Samstagnachmittag durch die Zürcher Innenstadt. Das Pride Festival gilt als der grösste LGBTIQ Anlass der Schweiz. 2019 haben 55’000 Menschen das Festival besucht.

The Zurich Pride Festival (ZHPF) association promotes acceptance and equality for lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans, inter and queer people (LGBTIQ) in Switzerland. Our vision is a society in which no one is discriminated against because of sexual orientation or gender identity – either legally or socially. In order to achieve this vision, the association focuses its activities on the annual Zurich Pride. During two weeks (Pride Weeks), in collaboration with numerous other LGBTIQ associations and groups, the ZHPF offers a diverse range of events related to a theme that changes each year. Highlights include the political march through Zurich’s city center on Saturday afternoon. The Pride Sunday service ends the largest LGBTIQ event in Switzerland.
