Esto se debe a que, al asumir la propia identidad transcendemos la construcción social del género que normalmente ha sido asumida como Una norma binaria entre lo masculino y femenino.

La celebración del orgullo en El Salvador (Pride SV) es la ocasión en que las personas LGBTQIA+ expresan sU orgullo de existir y resistir en la sociedad salvadoreña, a pesar que esta y los organismos de poder han creado una hegemonía de uniformidad ciudadana que limita el desarrollo de su potencial humano e invisibiliza y vulnera muchos rasgos de la transversalidad de cada persona.

In El Salvador, LGBTQIA+ (0S//EG/CS) people are subject to discrimination and hate attacks for being who they are and expressing it publicly. This is because, by assuming one’s own identity, we transcend the social construction of gender that has normally been assumed as a binary norm between masculine and feminine.

The celebration of Pride in El Salvador (Pride SV) is the occasion for LGBTQIA+ people to express their pride in existing and resisting in Salvadoran society, despite the fact that Salvadoran society and the organisms of power have created a hegemony of citizen uniformity that limits the development of their human potential and makes invisible and violates many features of the cross-cutting nature of each person.
